A team of materials scientists and engineers from Palo Alto, USA found a way to reject certain wavelengths of sunlight, while allowing visible light to enter. This forms the core of XIR technology belonging to V-KOOL: the transmission of visible light is high with reduced heat from rejection of infrared rays.
